SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
We strive to provide the children with a safe and secure atmosphere Sunday mornings during Sunday school, & Children's Church, and Wednesday evenings to explore the marvelous creation of God.
We believe students are an important part of the church today, therefore, the students participate in all areas of ministry.
They also have a great time going to events, concerts, and conferences. Our Student Ministry Room is fully stocked with everything the students want to have a great time.
Access is an inclusive ministry dedicated to those with disabilities. We meet Sunday's at 9:30am and Wednesdays at 6:30pm. We endeavor to present the truth of the Bible in a manner that they can receive and put into practice in their everyday lives.
Every Sunday & Wednesday we have dedicated Community Groups for every age: preschool, elementary, middle, & high school, college, career, empty-nesters, retirees, and interest groups! Join a group today!
Five Pointers meets the first Wednesday of the month at 11am. Seniors from around the Tidewater area come to meet and share fellowship with one another. We have entertainment and speakers and have even had someone come and give us some safety tips on how to protect ourselves. We love to take trips. One of our favorite destinations is Tangier Island. We have a potluck every third month. We would like to invite all you seniors to come and see what Five Pointers is all about. We have a good time and we would like to see you there.
WOMEN ON MISSION
Women on Mission (WOM) meets the second Tuesday of the month at 10am to discuss and do a variety of mission projects through the church and community. Join in on the mission!
Community Crossword meets the third Wednesday of the month at 11am! This is a fun time of community building, friendship, and challenge as you complete crossword puzzles. Lunch is provided!
Worship is important to every ministry at Norview. Our worship is God-centered and not just performance. We have contemporary music with modern arrangements of favorite hymns.
Our worship team includes choir, praise band, instrumental groups, & handbells for special events.
Praise Team practice is on Wednesday nights at 7:45pm. Currently, we are seeking a volunteer bassist. Our musical selection combines both Traditional & Contemporary Worship styles.
